An alternative weekend by the sea
We are 10 minutes from the Blue Flag beaches of the Conero Riviera; and from mediaeval villages that are ready to welcome you for a weekend of relaxation, good food and beautiful sea. Go from Portonovo Bay to Sirolo, Numana, then along the Mercelli coast until you reach Porto Recanati. Health resorts, restaurants and seafront walks are waiting for you.
Or… a cultural weekend by the sea
In addition to being just a few minutes from the Conero Riviera, we are also close to Osimo, famous for its grottos and cathedral. Osimo is near Recanati, the birthplace of Leopardi. It’s also close to Loreto, a popular pilgrimage site. Offagna, famous for its mediaeval festival, is only about 15 minutes away. If you want to go as far as Ancona, you can admire the view from San Ciriaco Cathedral. Thanks to the particular shape of the promontory, it is possible to watch the sun set over the sea.
A week to discover the Marches Region
If you like driving around to discover towns, villages, trattorias and breath-taking new views, Marches is the ideal place for you: Visit the sloping streets and towers in Urbino; the ancient town of Gradara, the trails on the Conero promontory, and grottos in Camerano or Frasassi. Then take a stroll along the Riviera delle Palme in San Benedetto. And finally, spend a day on the splendid beach of Due Sorelle in Sirolo, then have an aperitif in the square overlooking the sea followed by dinner in one of the trattorias on Portonovo Bay. And there you are: seven wonderful days have suddenly passed.
